SIAMS

Our school is delighted to share the positive outcome of our recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS), which recognised our school as a place where pupils and adults truly flourish. Rooted in our vision, “Wonderfully made, inspired to shape the world,” and inspired by Psalm 139:14, the report celebrates the caring and inclusive community we have built together. Inspectors recognised that “an aspirational Christian vision informs the strategic direction of the school” and highlighted how our nurturing environment helps everyone thrive, noting that “pupils and adults flourish in their personal growth as a result of the care and nurture they receive.” The report also reflects the warm atmosphere that visitors experience every day, describing how “an atmosphere of warmth and joy permeates the school.” Collective worship was praised for bringing our community together, where “moments of stillness and prayer enrich the spiritual development of pupils and adults.” We were also pleased that the inspection recognised the rich opportunities our pupils have to learn about diversity, care for others and make a positive difference in the world. We are incredibly proud that the report reflects what we see every day – a happy, supportive school where every child is valued and celebrated as “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
